SPLOST

SPLOST stands for Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax. SPLOST is the addition of one penny added to the current sales tax 6%. The purpose of SPLOST is to generate funds to assist in purchasing government equipment and vehicles, paying off government debt, and to maintain the storm water project.
